A chicken's life cycle is an incredible journey through four main stages:
1️⃣ Egg 🥚
- The process begins when a hen lays an egg.
- Inside the egg, a tiny embryo develops, protected by the shell.
- After 21 days of incubation, the chick is ready to hatch.
2️⃣ Hatching 🐤
- The chick breaks through the eggshell using a special "egg tooth" on its beak.
- Once free, it dries off and begins exploring its surroundings.
3️⃣ Chick 🐥
- Chicks are fluffy and adorable!
- During this stage, they grow quickly and are dependent on warmth, food, and water.
- They start developing feathers as they mature.
4️⃣ Adult Chicken 🐔
- After about 6 months, the chicken reaches adulthood.
- Hens begin laying eggs, and roosters develop their distinctive combs and crowing abilities.
🌱 Fun Fact: Chickens can live for 5-10 years with proper care!
